Back in 1998 Alan and Denyse Hodgson, the original owners of Grumpy Grandma’s, planted a mixed variety olive grove in sunny Jiggi nestled in the pretty hills of the Northern Rivers hinterlands. Through sheer hard work, much trial & error and study trips to Sicily, Grumpy Grandma’s grew to be a table Olive & Olive Oil business to be reckoned with!
After Alan & Denyse decided to take a step back from farm life, new owners Tim Stone & Lynne took up the reins of the business in 2017.
Tim & Lynne are carrying on Grumpy Grandma's legacy of freshness and deliciousness, as well as trialling growth of new, speciality varieties on their grove at Rosebank.
Currently discerning foodies can taste the delights of 4 different oil styles as well as scrumptious, nibble worthy Kalamata, Manzanillo and Hardy Mammoth Green Olives and semi dried olives for a salad zing!
