Returns and refunds

At Grumpy Grandma’s, we want your olives and olive oils to arrive safely and ready to enjoy. If something isn’t right with your order, please get in touch so we can help.

Damaged, broken or faulty products

If your order arrives broken, damaged or faulty, we’ll arrange a replacement at no extra cost, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Please email olives@grumpygrandmas.com.au as soon as possible after discovering the problem, with your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photos of the product and packaging.

Please do not consume products with broken glass, damaged seals or suspected contamination.

Returning a product

Please contact us before sending anything back. We’ll let you know whether a return is needed and provide instructions. If we require a faulty or damaged product to be returned, we’ll arrange and cover the reasonable return postage costs. No restocking fees apply.

You do not need to post broken glass or unsafe food back to us.

Refunds

Where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law, or agreed with us, it will be issued to your original payment method. We’ll confirm when it has been processed. The time it takes to appear in your account will depend on your payment provider.

Change of mind

As we sell food products, we do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including ordering the wrong product or deciding you no longer want it. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
